Who we are

SumSplit is an Android number puzzle by Albert Labs. Contact: albertlabsai@gmail.com. This policy covers SumSplit (com.albertlab.sumsplit) and this website.

App versions and advertising

Version 0.6.12 introduces Google AdMob advertising. The advertising sections below apply to it; older versions without advertising do not contain advertising SDKs or make ad requests.

Data on your device

Progress, scores, times, attempts, hints, unfinished puzzles, challenge codes and results, tutorial status and settings stay in private storage on your device. Feedback saved by older prototype versions remains local. The current version no longer offers the feedback form or export. We do not operate game accounts or a server receiving this information.

Google Play updates and reviews

From version 0.6.9, SumSplit checks for updates through Google Play and may offer a voluntary review after playing. Local completion identifiers (up to 40), used review milestones and prompt dates limit repeated requests; these records are not sent to us and survive Reset Progress. Google Play handles requests in its own processes. For updates, Google describes processing device metadata, the app version and installed modules/asset packs to determine update availability and size, with encrypted transmission and a fixed retention period. If you submit a rating or written review, Google processes that content; it may be public on the store, or private developer feedback during a closed test. You can remove it through Google Play or your Google Account. SumSplit does not receive confirmation that you rated it. See Google’s disclosures for updates and reviews. Gameplay and local saves still work without internet or Google Play.

Sharing and support

Sharing is optional. Android opens its sharing menu with the result you selected; the chosen app handles delivery under its own privacy rules. Cancelling does not send it to us. If you contact albertlabsai@gmail.com, we receive your sender details and message, use them to handle the request, and retain correspondence only as needed for that purpose and applicable obligations.

Advertising-enabled versions

Advertising-enabled versions can show a Home banner and an interstitial when continuing after three completed non-tutorial boards in a session. Ads require internet; unavailable ads do not block the next puzzle. Google AdMob may collect and share IP-derived approximate location, app/ad interactions, diagnostics and device or app identifiers for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Google encrypts SDK data in transit using TLS. Removing advertising-ID access does not eliminate all SDK data processing. See Google’s SDK data disclosure.

Children and advertising choices

The game is intended for ages 9 and up. It does not ask for a name, birth date, player profile, contacts or precise location. Children should ask a parent or guardian before external sharing or contacting us. The ad integration applies child treatment and a G content limit to everyone, disables advertising-ID permission and does not use behavioural ad personalization. It also tells Google’s consent platform that users are below the age of consent; this means it does not ask them for advertising consent. Any privacy options required by Google are available in Settings. No separate gameplay analytics service or mediation SDK is integrated.

Retention and deletion

Reset Progress clears campaign and challenge progress, while retaining settings and saved feedback. Clearing app storage in Android Settings or uninstalling removes local app data; Android app backup is disabled. Exported files and messages remain at their destination until removed there. In advertising-enabled versions, Google handles SDK data retention under its retention policy; resetting SumSplit does not delete data already held by Google.

This website

This static website uses Microsoft Azure hosting and has no advertising scripts, analytics or tracking cookies. Azure may process technical request data, such as IP address and browser information, to deliver and secure the site. Opening the policy in an external browser needs internet but does not give the site access to saved game data. Older app versions may link to our Google Sites policy; that visit is handled by Google and your browser.

Privacy requests

Contact albertlabsai@gmail.com to request access, correction or deletion of personal information you sent us, including a child’s support correspondence. Identify the relevant correspondence without sending unnecessary personal details. Local saves are on your device; we cannot retrieve or erase them remotely. Requests about data held independently by Google can be made through Google’s privacy request tools. Applicable data-protection rights, including under the GDPR, remain available, as does contacting your data-protection authority.

External services and updates

External services have their own policies: Google and Microsoft. We update this policy and the Google Play disclosures when the app’s data practices change. The date above identifies this policy version.
